Bas-relief, graffito and inlay denote the three different versions available for WEAVE, the collection of floor and wall coverings ideal for indoors and outdoors, where the surface is enriched with an essential and contemporary texture. Thin coupled strips, with the two short sides rounded and replicated in a perpendicular way, create the pattern, which can be realized either in a single type of natural stone or in two colours.

Inlay

This meticulous technique embeds carved inserts into a marble base, using materials such as metals, glass, stones—and naturally, marble itself—resulting in sophisticated designs suited for both wall and floor applications.

Graffito
A patented Kreoo technique that joins two contrasting marbles to create dimensional surface effects. One marble is layered over another, then intricately carved with a pre-selected design. As the top layer is cut away, the lower marble is revealed beneath—forming bold, textural patterns. (Wall applications only.)

Raffaello Galiotto
After studying Fine Arts at the Academy of Venice, he directed his interests towards the world of design and in 1993 founded his own design studio. Interested in materials and technology, he develops a particular knowledge of production processes, characterizing projects with experiments and original solutions, working both with artificial materials such as plastic and with natural ones such as marble. Since 2014 curator of the exhibitions of the experimental pavilion of Marmomac Verona. He has published books, participates in conferences and holds lectures around the world on lithic design. Professor of Design at the University of Ferrara from 2012 to 2019.
